About Nathdwara


A town in Rajasthan, Nathdwarais located in the Aravalli hills, on the banks of the Banas River. This town is famous for its temple of Krishna which houses the14th-century idol of Shrinathji. Set amid idyllic hillsNathdwaraitself is popularly referred to as ‘Shrinathji’. The shrine in this town was built in the 17th century. The town is also well-known for its 'pichhwai' paintings, handmade terracottas, ivory articles and milk-made sweets.

About Bayad


Bayad is a small village in the westernmost Indian state of Gujarat. It is located in the Kathiawar peninsula at a distance of 103 km from the nearest urban hub of Junagadh. Distance-wise, the city of Amreli is just 7 km away from the village, and can thus be said to form the outskirts of the city. However, many depend on Junagadh as it is the bigger city nearby.

Despite Bayad being so close to Amreli, the best places of interest in the region are in the neighbouring city of Junagadh. Places which are worth a visit are Uparkot, Jama Masjid, Junagadh Caves, the old part of the town, Rohidas Ashram and others. The Gir National Park (86 km away), famous for its lions, is also a must-see.
