Navsari is a city and municipality in the Surat metropolitan region and also the administrative headquarters of Navsari district of Gujarat, India. Navsari is also the twin city of Surat, and is 37 kms south of Surat. Many Parsis settled down in this city in around 11th century AD and named it Navu Sari which meant ‘New Sari’.
