A city and a Municipal Corporation in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, Ongole is famous for the Ongole breed of oxen, which is one of the major Zebu cattle breeds in the world. Paramakudi is a town, a municipality in Ramanathapuram district in the Tamil Nadu. The river Vaigai flows through Paramakudi on its way to the Bay of Bengal.
