An oasis in the Thar Desert, Osian is also nicknamed as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan. Located in Jodhpur district, this town has several Jain temples that are worth visiting. Earlier, a major religious hub of the Marwar kingdom, the ruins of the temples stand testimony to its former glory. The National Highway 11 lies close to the town, thus making it a well connected place.
