Pala

Pala also known as Palai, is a municipal town 27 kms east of Kottayam in the state of Kerala. It is situated 173 kms north from the state capital Thiruvananthapuram, on the banks of the Meenachil river. Pala is one of the main gateways to the southern high ranges of Western Ghats.
