About Palampur

Palampur

Palampur is one of the finest hill station located in the valley of Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. Palampur is covered by tea gardens and pine forests from all sides which merge later on with the Dhauladhar ranges. Palampur is known as the tea capital of India. Una

Una is a city and a municipal council that falls in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It shares its border with Kangra, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur districts and is known as ‘the Gateway to Himalayas’. According to local folklore, Una was named by Shri Guru Arjan Dev ji who was the fifth Guru of Sikhs. There is another school of thought too. ‘Una’ means ‘Unnati’ which means progress. Hence, ‘Una’ was coined keeping with the growth and progress of the town.

There are no direct flights to Una. The nearest airport is in Chandigarh which is 120 km away.
