About Panjim

Panjim

Panaji (known as Panjim in English) is the capital of the state of Goa. Goa's largest city, Panaji is situated on the banks of the Mandovi river in Tiswadi taluka. Panjim is a favorite among tourists for its old world charm, pretty villas, cobbled streets and interesting buildings that give it a Portuguese ambience.

Air:
The nearest airport is Dabolim Airport (30kms).

Rail:
The Vasco Da Gama railway station has many regular trains that connect the city with the important cities of the country. The Panaji railway station is also another station in the city.

About Haveri

Haveri

A town in Karnataka, Haveri is well-known for cardamom garlands and Byadagi red chillies that are marketed all over the country. Haveri is slowly gaining popularity as a major tourist spot as it is surrounded by places that have historical temples. While the town is believed to have had about 100 Maths (sacred religious places), only a few remain today. The famous Hukkeri Math is in Haveri.

Haveri has its own Railway Station.
