Pugal is a small village in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located in the midst of the Thar Desert, adjacent to Punjab province of Pakistan. The Pakistan border is close-by at an approximate distance of 52 km north-west. Those willing to explore the desert region, life in the border areas as well as traditional cuisine can try this place out.

A visit to the neighbouring hub of Bikaner with its forts, camel races, temples and the bhujia is also worth a try.
