About NASIRABAD

Nasirabad

Nasirabad is cantonment town located in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. It is popular for the delicious Kachori (a fried spiced wonton) preparations. The name Nasirabad was given after Sir David Ochterlony, an English officer who was given an honor with name- Nasir-Ud-Daula. This town is also known for its defense population, since a number of officers and soldiers are posted in this place. The namkeen or salty snacks of this place is very famous.

There are many magnificent lakes to see here, and the major attraction is the Nagpathar range. The desert area will give tourists a wonderful experience. Dilwara (3.3 km), Sanod (11 km), Ramsar (15 km), and Pili Kothi (1.6 km) are some attractions here.

The nearest domestic airport to Nasirabad is the Sanganer Airport which is 135 km away from the town.

Rail:
This town is well connected to railways; it is connected with the Delhi-Mumbai line.

Bus:
Two bus stations are nearby to this town. If you are travelling long distance by a Volvo bus you will have a comfortable journey with ample leg space.
