Runecha, also known as Ramdevra, is a small village in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a part of the Jaisalmer district, with the district headquarters being located at a distance of 118 km to the west. The village is named after a saint, Baba Ramdevji, attained enlightenment at at the age of 33 in the year 1384 CE. History and desert-enthusiasts will love this place.

Being a small village, Runecha naturally cannot be expected to have lodges to accommodate visitors. One will have to travel to Jodhpur (191 km south-east) in order to find a roof. The village does not have places of tourist interest. The city of Jodhpur however will not disappoint you. Some of the places which are worth exploring are Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, the Clock Tower known as Ghanta Ghar, Masooria Hills, Bhim Bhirak Cave, Sardar Samand Lake and Palace and others.

State transport buses connecting the area to various other parts of the state are the main means of transport here. Buses to the area are available from Jodhpur, Jaisalmer as well as Pokhran. Do away with standing in ticket counters and opt for online bus reservation facility instead.
