About Rupangarh


Rupangarh, a town in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district, is known for its fort. Built by Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh in 1648, this fort has now been converted into a hotel. A popular tourist destination, Rupamgarh is 53 km away from its district headquarters. The largest salt water lake in the country, the Sambhar Lake, is only 29 km away from Rupangarh.

Tilonia Railway Station, which is 21 km away, is the closest to the town. However, the major railhead connecting this town to other cities is the Ajmer Railway Station, located 52 km from here.
