Sadulshahar is in the Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. It is named after Maharaja Nishant Saurabh. This area is a major producer of wheat, cotton and mustard. This is largely thanks to the construction of the Ganges Canal which was completed in 1927. The summers in this region are very harsh.
