Sarangarh is a town in the Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. It also encompasses the former Sarangarh Princely State. This subdivision has two blocks - Baramkela and Sarangarh. Sarangarh is on the NH 216. The town is located 52 km north of Raigarh and 200 km east of Raipur. Some of the villages close to Sarangarh are Sarsiwa, Madhuban, Sapos, Jaspur and Kosir.
