Sarkaghat

Sarkaghat is a beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Located in Mandi district, Sarkaghat is an offbeat tourist destination. It is about 58 km away from its district headquarters and about 148 km from its capital city, Shimla. This well connected town has several temples and forts worth visiting. Phagwara is a municipal corporation in Punjab and comes under Kapurthala District. It was earlier under Jalandhar district. It lies on the Delhi-Amritsar National Highway, and is therefore very well connected.  It is located between two big cities, Ludhiana and Jalandhar. It was originally developed as a market town by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The people of Phagwara are mainly farmers. There are many agriculture based industries in this town as well.
