Shornur

A small town and a municipality in Palakkad district of Kerala, Shoranur is located on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River. The premier centre for classical arts is located in this town, which attracts artists from across the globe. The town is a part of the district's industrial belt, where a large number of agricultural tools are manufactured. Considered a major transport hub, Shornur Junction is the largest Railway Junction in Kerala.
