About Sikar


A city located in the Shekhawati region of Sikar District in Rajasthan state, Sikar has many well-known and historic building that attracts tourists. The city is well connected by roads to all the major cities in the state. National highway NH-11, which connects Sikar to Jaipur and Bikaner passes through the centre of the city. The nearest airport to Pilani is Delhi, 210 km away. Delhi airport is well connected to various cities across India, and several international destinations as well.


There is no railway station in Pilani. The closest railway station is Chirawa, 16km away. It is served by the North Western Railway, but there are not too many direct trains to this place. 


Pilani Bus station is within town and has daily regular buses to Delhi, Jaipur and parts of Haryana. Interstate buses are very reliable, and the popular private tour operators are Bharat Transport and Shree Maruti Travels. It is easy to get your tickets through’s bus ticket online booking facility.
