About Singampuneri

Singampuneri

Located in Sivagangai district of Tamil Nadu, Singampunari is an industrial and temple town. The town is well-known for its coconut rope production and groundnut oil mills. Since Singampunari is situated near the Madurai-Chennai highway and the Coimbatore-Palani - Karaikudi-Devakottai route, all buses passing via the region stop here.

Aranthangi

Aranthangi is a town in  Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu, and the main attraction of Aranthangi is the ruined fort. It is believed that Aranthangi was earlier  ruled by 'Tondaimans and they were the one who had built the fort. Not much is known about Tondaimans but they were the  main chieftains who had controlled the entire  Aranthangi region during the 15th century. There are many temples in this region.
