About Khopoli


Khopoli is a small industrial city in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated at the base of the Sahyadri Mountains and so, is surrounded by hills. It has developed swiftly in the past few years due its close proximity with cities like Mumbai and Pune. It is here that the first hydropower station in India was built.
