Telaprolu is a small village in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. It is a part of the Unguturu Mandal. It is a part of the Seemandhra region of the state, which is one of the three major regions of the state. The river Krishna, after which the district is named after, flows through this region. It is known for the Rangamma Perantalu Temple which is over 150 years old and still exists.
