Tenali

A town in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh, Tenali is the second largest town in Guntur District. The town, which thrives on trade and agriculture, is popularly known as ‘Andhra Paris’ because three canals of the Krishna River are located here. Tenali, which is famous for its rich historical, agricultural, cultural and literary legacy, houses one of the oldest Vedic schools of Andhra Pradesh, Sree Yalavarthy Anjaneya Sastry Veda Pathashala, established in 1893.
