Thamarrassary is a town in the Kozhikode district, located in the South Indian state of Kerala. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Kozhikode, located at a distance of 30 km south-west. The cultural hub of Malappuram is also close-by and lies 56 km to the south of the town. One can stop by in the town while en route to the picturesque Malabar Wildlife Sanctuary from Malappuram or Kozhikode. The area is known for its picturesque hilly terrain.
