About Thokkottu

Thokottu

Situated in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka is Thokottu, a tiny village which lies on National Highway 17, south of Mangalore city. Thokottu also happens to be the first stop for any train which leaves Mangalore towards south direction. Thokottu is also known for being the starting point for the educational hub of Mangalore. Due to its proximity to the sea, the region witnesses humid but pleasant weather throughout the year.
