Thuckalay

Thuckalay is a town in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is part of the Kanyakumari district. Kodakara, a small temple town in Kerala’s Thrissur district, is located on the Salem-Kochi-Kanyakumari Highway. When Tippu Sultan came to this region the temple treasures were hidden for fear of the sultan taking it all away. Some of its nearby cities include Chalakudy, Irinjalakuda, Guruvayoor and Ashtamichira.
