Thuckalay

Thuckalay is a town in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is part of the Kanyakumari district. The district headquarters, as well as the nearest major urban hub, Kanyakumari, is located at a distance of 34 km south-east. A Municipality in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, Oddanchatram lies on the highway between Madurai-Coimbatore and Dindigul-Palani. Located at the base of the Western Ghats, Oddanchatram has the largest vegetable market, ‘Gandhi Market’, in the state which exports vegetables to other states and cities. Other than vegetables, the town is also famous for its milk products such as ghee and buttermilk.
