TIMBI

Timbi is a small village located in Jafrabad in Amreli district, Gujarat. Amerli is known as an industrial district. Timbi is 307 km from Amreli and 153 km from its capital, Gandhinagar. It is surrounded by Diu, Khambha, Jafrabad, and Rajula. The climate in this area becomes humid as it is close to the Arabian Sea. The nearby cities are Rajula, Una, and Savarkundla.

One of the six original Shri Swaminarayan temples which were built by Sahajanand Swami is located here.

The biggest tourist attraction in Dholera is the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. It is one of the six Shri Swaminarayan temples that were built by Sahajanand Swami in 1826. Other places of interest include the beaches at Ghogha (22 km from Bhavnagar), the Alang shipyard (50 km from Bhavnagar) and the Gulf of Khambhat.

The nearest airport is the Bhavnagar airport which is located 65 km away.

Rail:

The closest major railway station is at Bhavnagar (34 km away from Dholera.)
