Tuticorin

Tuticorin is also popularly known as Thoothukudi. The word Thoothukudi derives its meaning from two Tamil words –Thootu (dig) and Kudi (drink). The region is most famous for Pearls and it is traditionally known for pearl fishing and ship industries. This place has a huge port and it is popular for it as Tuticorin is considered to be one of the oldest seaports in the world. The place is relatively warm and pleasant from January to March and is enjoyable to visit during these months.

Bus:
