Also, known as ‘Amarkot’ and ‘Umarkot’, Umerkote is a small town located in the Nabarangpur district in Odisha. It is well connected with all other major cities of the country through frequent buses. The town is bordered by Chhattisgarh in the west and is positioned 62 km away from Nabarangpur, the district headquarter.
