About Vadnagar

Vadnagar

Vadnagar is a municipal city in the Mehsana district in the state of Gujarat. The town is known for being the birthplace of Mr. Narendra Modi. It has its history spanning over 2500 years. It is a significant place in the Mahabharata, where it is referred to as Anartapur. It also has an image of the Bodhisattva which is known to be as old as the 3rd Century A.D.
