Vaijapur is a municipality and city situated in Maharashtra. This city, which is located in the Aurangabad district, also has the Nashik district, Kannad tehsil and Gangapur tehsil bordering it. It has a number of tourist attractions here; Shirdi too is located only a few kilometres away. It was also distinctively known as ‘Gateway of Marathawada’.
