Vayalpadu, also called as Valmikipuram, is a suburb of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh. It is about 542 km away from Hyderabad. The town is famous for its temple, Sri Pattabi Ramalayam. Legend has it that anyone who sees Sita Mata sitting at the right of Lord Rama will be free from the circle of life. Veeranna Konda Hills and Veerabhadra Temple are the other major attractions of this town. The ceremony of Sita Rama Kalyanam is held every month based on the birth star of Rama.
