Vijay Nagar is a city located in the Bellary district of north Karnataka. Its residents are very religious judging by the number of temples and holy sites one can find here. It is close to Hampi, a historical place famous for its temples. The term Vijay means ‘Victory’, and Nagar means ‘City’.
