About Virudhunagar

Virudhunagar

Known to be the district of Tamil Nadu, Virudhunagar was also called Virudhupatti in the beginning of 20th century. This town was the commercial centre during the years of British rule in India. It is also said that this district was earlier part of ramanathapuram district. It is located to the east of the Kowsika River. Virudhunagar is also the birth place of freedom fighter and Tamil Nadu Chief minister  K. Kamaraj (1954 to 1963).

Naidupeta

Naidupetta is the fourth largest town in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district. Situated on the banks of Swarnamukhi River, this town is 33 km away from Venkatagiri, 66 km from Tirupati, 68 km from Nellore and 106 km from Chennai.
