Vita, in Maharashtra’s Sangli district, has two state highways crisscrossing from the heart of the town. A part of the Pune division, it is surrounded by the Sahyadri mountains. This place is a perfect weekend getaway, as it is far from the madding crowd. Vita has a number of beautiful temples worth visiting. Its nearby cities are Karad and Sangli.

Padubidri or Padubidre is a small town in the coastal district of Udupi in the state of Karnataka. It is on the way from Udupi to Mangalore route. National Highway 17 (now NH 66) passes through Padubidri. Padubidri is surrounded by Yermal in the north, Hejamady in the south, Nandikur (Nandikoor) in the east and the Arabian sea on the west.
